[ARCHIVED] WO HRC presents the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration 1/18/2016

The West Orange Human Relations Commission will present the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration Monday, January 18, 2016 from 9:30 am to noon at West Orange High School, Tarnoff Cafeteria, 51 Conforti Avenue, West Orange. Our speaker will be Lawrence Hamm, State Chairman, People’s Organization for Progress (POP), an independent, grassroots, community based, politically progressive association of citizens working for racial, social and economic justice and greater unity in the community.

Our program will include inspirational music from West Orange students/residents and a recognition of West Orange residents whose volunteer or professional work embraces the spirit, dreams and dedication of Dr. King. Refreshments will be provided. Families welcomed. Please mark your calendar and plan to join us to celebrate the legacy of Dr. King.
