[ARCHIVED] Paving Main Street beginning 10/21

Road Work

Please be advised that beginning Thursday, October 21st through October 28th, 2021-  weather permitting- Main Street from Harrison Avenue to High Street will be milled and paved during the night (7pm- 6 am) under the Essex County Roadway Resurfacing Program.

While milling and paving work is taking place, sections of Main Street will be intermittently closed to non-emergency traffic. During these operations, access to and from your driveway or street may be prohibited. If you need to enter or leave your home or business during this time (7 om- 6 am), please make arrangements to park your vehicle at another location.

PLEASE FOLLOW ALL DETOUR SIGNS. PARKING ON MAIN STREET DURING CONSTRUCTION WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. NEW TRAFFICE PATTERNS AND SIGNS WILL BE POSTED.
