2020 Holiday Season

Hopefully, these events bring the community some joy and excitement this holiday season, giving both children and adults the opportunity to be creative and enjoy time with one another.

Virtual Ginger Bread House Contest

Create your own one of a kind gingerbread house and enter the contest here.  You can make your gingerbread house from scratch, a pre-made kit, graham crackers or some other edible item, the construction of the house is up to you.  Each gingerbread house must be up to 90 percent edible.  Each creation will be judged on originality, creativity, difficulty, use of materials, neatness and overall appearance.

All entries must be received by Tuesday, December 1st.  Winners will receive a holiday popcorn tin and a Visa gift card.  

santa's mailbox

Drop your letter into Santa's Mailbox outside the Recreation Department (60 1/2 Cherry St) between November 28th and December 18th.  Letters will be delivered to the North Pole on a daily basis.  For a return letter from Santa, please include child's name and complete address.  

drive thru santa experience

On Saturday, December 5 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, there will be a Drive Thru Santa Experience at Town Hall (66 Main Street).  The experience will include holiday giveaways and festive experiences. The line forms along White Street and vehicles will enter through the second driveway entrance on White Street into the parking lot of 59 Main Street. Please note this experience is meant to be enjoyed from the comfort of your vehicle and participants are not permitted to exit their vehicle at any time.  Please click here for an event flyer.
