The West Orange Recreation Department sponsors Traveling All Star Basketball Teams for the following levels:
- 3rd Grade Boys
- 4th Grade Boys
- 5th Grade Boys
- 6th Grade Boys
- 7th Grade Boys
- 8th Grade Boys
- 3rd/4th Grade Girls
- 5th/6th Grade Girls
- 7th/8th Grade Girls
The 5th through 8th Grade teams participate in the Suburban League against neighboring communities from early December through March. The 3rd and 4th Grade teams participate in a local league to be determined. Tryouts for the team are held in mid-October.
