West Orange Homeowners Rehabilitation Program

The West Orange Housing Rehabilitation Program (WOHRP) is sponsored by the Township of West Orange as part of the Township's Affordable Housing Program as mandated by the State of New Jersey.  The program offers assistance to low and moderate-income Township homeowners.  WOHRP lends eligible Township homeowners up to $25,000 at 0% interest to assist in home repairs.  There are no monthly payments required on these loans.  The loan is repaid (no interest) at the time of the sale of the home or transfer of title.  For more information, contact Steve Weinberg, Program Coordinator, at (732) 485-0756 or steve.weinberg@mac.com.

Homeowners who wish to apply for the West Orange Housing Rehabilitation Program must submit a Rehabilitation Program Preliminary Application (PDF) as soon as possible to get on the Waiting List.  Preapplications are served in the order in which they apply.
